Gunfighters Lose to Eyebiters in Walk Off
The Mars Eyebiters beat the Texas Gunfighters by a score of 5-4. Mars left fielder Mark Lee deserved the lion's share of the credit. Lee went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Eyebiters. Mars reliever Christian Crockett got the win, raising his record to 4-3. Jon Pilgrim was tagged with the loss. Mars goes to 30-39, Texas to 31-39.

The Eyebiters procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Ken Luster. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Luster told the Mars Gazette.
