Bad Behavior Costs Oakenshield and Buttholz Thursday, April 18th, 2019 Mitch Oakenshield of the Los Angeles Shockers and Clay Buttholz of the Boston Beaneaters will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Shockers-Beaneaters game at Shockadome. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Oakenshield and Buttholz will begin serving them soon. For the season Oakenshield is currently batting .271 with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. In 14 games he has reached base at a .364 rate and scored 8 runs to date. This year Buttholz has compiled a 0-0 mark with a 10.80 ERA. |
