Snow Sox Get One-Run Win at Detroit
The Alaska Snow Sox had to overcome a fine effort from Detroit pitcher Joe Perry to grab a narrow 6-5 win at Devils Stadium. Perry went 7.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. Detroit falls to 4-3.

Alaska used a clutch hit from Anthony Parker to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Snow Sox ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In comments to the Alaska News, Parker insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
