Utes Advance to Division Series
Major Superior League fans were certainly not disappointed with this Superior Conference Wildcard Series.

The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Utah Utes prevailing over the Boston Beaneaters to advance to the Division Series.

Utah won the final game by a score of 3-0 at Fenway Park and that sealed the series 2-1.

"Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said second baseman Aster Smith, who earned MVP honors.

For the series, Smith hit .583 with a .583 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 1 runs.

The Utah Utes will play against the New York Knights in the next round. New York had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
