Hawks Move on to Division Series
Depending on your loyalties, the Wildcard Series was either thrilling or heartbreaking.

The series went down to its final game, with the Charlotte Hawks and the Las Vegas Gamblers giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Hawks came out on top, winning 5-3 at Gambler Field today to take the series 2-1.

"We're lucky to be going into the Division Series," said Charlotte pitcher Bubba Donaldson. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."

Donaldson earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .625 average, with 2 home runs, 5 RBI and 2 runs scored.

The Charlotte Hawks will play against the Toledo Mud Hens in the next round. Toledo had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
