Saldana Blasts Colts, Gamblers Take Game 2, 5-4
The Las Vegas Gamblers relied on the hitting of right fielder Raul Saldana to get by the Baltimore Colts, 5-4, in Game 2 of the League Series today. For the game, Saldana went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

The Gamblers took a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing Baltimore hurler Peter Johnson with two outs, Saldana hit a 3-run home run.

"We lost," Baltimore manager Jason Sorensen said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at Ballpark of Baltimore in Baltimore.
