The Baltimore Colts defeated the New York Knights, 4-2, in Superior Conference action at Ballpark of Baltimore. Baltimore pitcher George Taylor had a standout performance. Bob Flynn got the save, the 4th for him this season. The victory makes Baltimore 7-2.

The Colts got a big at-bat from first baseman Cale Black. For the game, Black went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Baltimore a 3-0 lead.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Taylor.
