Behind an impressive start by Rob McCullough, Chicago beat Charlotte, 4-2. The win puts Chicago at 5-4.

In the bottom of the sixth, Chicago designated hitter Silveran Kanan Bonis gave his team the lead. With one out and a runner on 1st, Greenhands hit his 3rd home run of the year. Charlotte pitcher Arnie Henry surrendered it. With that, the Winds jumped in front, 3-2.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Chicago manager Rocky Balboni. "It's usually not just one thing."
