Shockers Prevail, 5-4, Over Denver
|
Chris Walker had a good game, but he could not keep the Denver Rabbits from falling, 5-4, to the Los Angeles Shockers at Shockadome. The Denver center fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 in the loss. The third-place Shockers have won 4 in a row.
In the bottom of the seventh, Los Angeles left fielder Justin Alexander hit a run-scoring single to center field. The clutch hit made it, 4-3, Shockers.
In comments to the Los Angeles Times, Alexander insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
