Gamblers Hammered by Arceneaux, Drop Game 2 to Stars
The Miami Stars relied on the hitting of first baseman Devan Arceneaux to get by the Las Vegas Gamblers, 10-6, in Game 2 of the League Series today. For the game, Arceneaux was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

Miami relied on the hitting of Billy Bass to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Stars on top, 5-0. For the game, Bass had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Stars manager Ryne Solo Jr.. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at Ballpark of Miami in Miami.
