The Miami Stars moved to within one game of the League Series today, downing the visiting Toledo Mud Hens at Ballpark of Miami by a score of 5-2. Stars left fielder Roberto Gonzales did some major damage. He was 1 for 1 with a home run. The win gives the Stars a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Division Series.

Prince Ferreira, who finished 5th in the SC in stolen bases with 29 in 2015, aided the Miami cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the second. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 3.

"Feels good to get the job done," Ferreira said after the game.

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at Toledo Ballpark in Toledo.
