Stars on to League Series
The Miami Stars clubhouse was filled with glee and celebration tonight, while the Toledo Mud Hens room was filled with despair and sadness after the Division Series concluded.

"Someone's got to win and someone's got to lose, we're just glad we're on the good end of it tonight and can enjoy this," said Justin Alexander, who was named MVP for a strong series of offensive performance.

Miami won the final game by a 6-4 count at Toledo Ballpark and the series 3-1.

Toledo manager Miles O'Brien was simple and to-the-point in his assessment of the series.

"They were the better team and deserve to move on," he said.

For the series, Alexander hit .375 with a .375 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Miami Stars will play against the Las Vegas Gamblers in the next round. Las Vegas won their series against the Phoenix Autobots 3 games to 0. The League Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
