Snow Sox Hammered by Corona, Drop Game 1 to B's
The Hollywood B's started the League Series in style today, winning on the road against the Alaska Snow Sox at The Igloo by a score of 13-7 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. B's right fielder Cesar Corona excelled. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5.

The B's took a 5-1 lead in the top of the second inning. Facing Alaska hurler Ken Bebbington with two outs, Corona hit a 2-run double.

"It was a solid team effort," said Corona after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Igloo in Anchorage.
