Road Win Lifts Hollywood to 3-2 Lead in R4
Despite a great performance by Cleveland shortstop Jody Rasmussen, the Hollywood B's defeated the Spiders by the score of 11-9 at Cleveland Grounds today. Rasmussen went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice, but he could not prevent the B's from moving one game closer to the Round 5. Hollywood now leads the Championship Series 3-2.

It could have been a different outcome for Hollywood, had it not been for Junior Alcantara, the 28-year old first baseman . Alcantara contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Hollywood up, 3-0.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Alcantara said.

The next game is scheduled for Thursday in Los Angeles. Slated to start are Tim Goff for Cleveland and Dan Mason for Hollywood.
