Grays Rally For Late Win Over Cobra
|
Philadelphia Grays starter Kelala Taree turned in a top-notch performance against the New York Cobra at Ballpark of Philadelphia. The result was a win for the Grays, 3-2. Mike DeWitt, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits. The win elevated the Grays to 56-46.
Had Jeremy Keen not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Keen hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Grays.
"I still think this team can play even better," Taree told the Philadelphia Today.
