Smith had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 0-1 cutter from Alex Munoz, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Utes a 3-2 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Smith.

"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Smith told the Utah Daily News.
