Decepticons Snatch Late Win
The Portland Decepticons stopped the St. Louis Robins, 5-3, at Robins Nest. The Decepticons got a big game from Josh O'Keefe, who went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Alan Everett got credit for the win, improving to 6-1. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. Mark Hunter, credited with the save, is now 23 for 27 in save opportunities.

Roberto Gomez, the fan favorite , had a direct impact on the outcome. Gomez contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Portland up, 4-3.

"This was a good win," said Gomez.
