Toronto and Florida got after it at Penguin Park.

Toronto designated hitter Aaron Moore had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Florida Penguins, 11-7. Toronto reliever Carlos Gonzalez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bob Williams absorbed the loss. Ed McCoy earned his 35th save in 36 chances.

Toronto relied on the hitting of Alex Duran to pick up the win. The first baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Seagulls on top, 6-5. For the game, Duran had 1 triple and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Duran told the Toronto Citizen.
