The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of St. Louis fans at Robins Nest.

St. Louis left-hander Alan Kelly pitched his team to victory over the Portland Decepticons at Robins Nest. The final score was 11-2. Kelly, now 12-6, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs.

Bill Berry helped out the St. Louis cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Berry told the St. Louis Daily.
