The Mars Eyebiters defeated the Texas Gunfighters, 15-2. Doing his part was third baseman Patrick Coote, who was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Mars pitcher Kris Smith got the win, upping his record to 8-8. Travis Gillispie got the loss. With the win, the Eyebiters have a record of 53-71.

The Eyebiters got an important contribution from left fielder Mark Lee, who in the bottom of the first punched a 1-2 fastball into left for a 2-run home run. It was his 31st home run of the season and put the Eyebiters ahead, 3-0.
