Eyres, Autobots Get Tidy 3-2 Win Over Texas
The Phoenix Autobots picked up a win at Ballpark of Arizona, knocking off the Texas Gunfighters, 3-2. Starting pitcher Chris Eyres was a big reason why. Pedro Cruz earned his 3rd save in 6 chances. The triumph puts Phoenix at 70-56 for the season.

Eyres was in the zone all game. He frustrated Texas hitters while giving the Autobots 8 innings of quality work. Eyres threw 97 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 3 punchouts.
