Isotopes Win at Chicago, 4-2
|
The Springfield Isotopes defeated the Chicago Winds, 4-2. Doing his part was third baseman Javier Soto, who hit 2 home runs. Shawn Sander got the save, his 5th in 6 chances. With the win, the Isotopes have a record of 58-73.
Springfield relied on the hitting of Beau Reid to pick up the win. The center fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Isotopes on top, 3-1. For the game, Reid had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
