Gunfighters Take Down Eyebiters, 5-4
The Mars Eyebiters got a superb performance from pitcher Vincent Smith, but the Texas Gunfighters still won the game, 5-4. Smith threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. Texas reliever Mike Henry picked up the win to move to 2-0. Jose De La Cerda suffered the loss. The current losing streak for Mars has reached 4 games.

Texas won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With no outs and Jose De La Cerda on the mound for Mars, right fielder Lou Miller hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Gunfighters fans to their feet.
