In a low-scoring affair between the Las Vegas Gamblers and the Mars Eyebiters, pitcher Ben Angus was the difference between victory and defeat. The Las Vegas left-hander earned accolades in the 2-0 Gamblers win. Las Vegas goes to 12-3.

Las Vegas used the timely hitting of Jaime Lannister to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Gamblers on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Las Vegas manager Ray Brooks. "Our pregame was pretty good."
