The Denver Rabbits and Orlando Rugrats played an exciting game.

Despite a great performance by Orlando right fielder Tatsuya Inoue, the Denver Rabbits defeated the Rugrats by the score of 4-3 at Carpet Kingdom. Inoue went 3 for 3 with a home run and a triple. Ron Kennedy converted his 31st save in 33 tries.

Jerry Godwin, the slugging first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Godwin contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Denver up, 2-0.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Godwin. "And not try to do too much."

Denver now has a record of 83-57 with the win.
