The home crowd had a good time watching the Hawaii Hounddogs and Alaska Snow Sox get after it.
Bernard Hudson was a major contributor to the 5-2 Alaska win over Hawaii. The Snow Sox left fielder was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs. Aaron Montes earned his 5th save in 5 chances.
Tim McBride had an important at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth, when he hit a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season put Alaska on top, 3-1.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said McBride. "And not try to do too much."
The last-place Snow Sox have won 5 consecutive games.
