Hounddogs Lose to Snow Sox, 5-3
|
John Branton did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Hawaii Hounddogs from losing, 5-3, to the Alaska Snow Sox at The Igloo. Branton went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Earning the save was Aaron Montes. He's now cashed in 6 of 6 save opportunities. The Snow Sox sport a record of 51-93.
Orlando Morales was a prime contributor to the Alaska win. He went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. In the bottom of the third with one out, the two-time All-Star hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 1-0, in favor of the Snow Sox.
"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Morales after the game.
