The Las Vegas Gamblers bested the Utah Utes, 6-2, at Gambler Field. Yoon-tae Kim was one of the standouts. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. With the win, Las Vegas upped its record to 82-63.

In the bottom of the sixth, Las Vegas first baseman Michael Rondon put his team on top. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit his 34th double of the year. Utah pitcher Jorge Gallardo served it up. Just like that, the Gamblers were ahead, 3-2.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Las Vegas manager Ray Brooks.
