Bay Area pitcher Johnny Anderson did his part in helping his team beat the Alaska Snow Sox, 4-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Anderson went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-2.

Bay Area used the bat of Artie Jacobs to get the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bandits ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Jacobs.
