Gunfighters Lose Again, 7-4, to Winds
Chicago third baseman Javier Soto contributed to his team's 7-4 win over the Texas Gunfighters. Soto, who finished 4th in the SC in RBI with 108 in 2016, went 3 for 5 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Winds. Estanislau Eduardo came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. Cesar Gutierrez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 13 of 21 save opportunities.

Making an impact for the home team was Juan Penales. In the bottom of the seventh, the 30-year old second baseman had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 6-4, Winds.

"I felt good up there," said Penales. "I saw the ball well."

The win gives Chicago a season record of 73-73.
