The Bay Area Bandits bested the Portland Decepticons, 15-7, at Bandits Park. Troy Wyckoff was one of the standouts. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 4 and driving in 7. Chris Craig got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 2 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 3. The loss drops the Decepticons to 5-9.

Whit Wood chipped in for Bay Area with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the second baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 5 RBI.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Wyckoff told the Bay Area Daily.
