Winds Roll to 12-2 Win Over Spiders
The Chicago Winds stopped the Cleveland Spiders, 12-2, at Wrigley Field. The Winds got a big game from Kevin Minion, who hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Picking up the win was Rob McCullough. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits. The left--hander struck out 3 and walked 0. With the win, the Winds sit at 78-75.

Jeremiah Bowman made an early impact for Chicago when he stroked his 16th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came with one out in the bottom of the second, put the Winds on top, 3-0.

"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Drew Marino.
