The home crowd had a good time watching the Cleveland Spiders and Chicago Winds get after it.

The Chicago Winds picked up a win at Wrigley Field, knocking off the Cleveland Spiders, 8-2. Starting pitcher C.C. Salbacca was a big reason why. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Chicago.

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Silveran Kanan Bonis came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Cleveland pitcher Rafael Romero, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Chicago on top, 4-2.

Bonis said his team "played with focus."
