Louisville and New York duked it out and the Sluggers came out victorious.

Louisville picked up a win at New York Grounds, toppling the New York Knights, 4-1. Pitcher Victor Medina was one of the reasons the Sluggers triumphed. Jose Lopez converted his 4th save in 7 tries.

Louisville used the clutch hitting of Troy Cole to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Sluggers the lead, 3-0. For the game, Cole had 1 single and 2 doubles in 4 at-bats.

"Victor did a tremendous job," said Louisville manager Walter Lewis.

The 'W' lifts Louisville's record to 72-89.
