Eyebiters Lose, 6-4, at Gambler Field
Raul Saldana left his imprint on the 6-4 Las Vegas win against the Mars Eyebiters. Saldana, who led the SC in doubles with 45 last year, went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Jason Moore was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 10 save opportunities. The win puts Las Vegas at 92-69 this season.

Saldana contributed in the bottom of the first. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Las Vegas get the win.
