B's Get Past Detroit for 5-4 Win
The Hollywood B's took Detroit pitcher Teddy Rudge's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Devils Stadium. The final score had Hollywood getting past the Devils, 5-4. Rudge went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 6. Hollywood reliever Michael Simpson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Alonso Romo was saddled with the loss. The loss has the Devils at 10-8.

Hollywood used a clutch hit from Gregor Clegane to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the B's ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Clegane.
