Gunfighters Prevail, 5-4, Over Baltimore
The Texas Gunfighters defeated the Baltimore Colts, 5-4, in Superior Conference action at Ballpark of Texas. Texas pitcher Michael Holloway had a standout performance. Holloway went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-1. Antonio Vidal sewed up the save, his 1st.

Doug Frazier dealt the Colts a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Texas leading 4-0, Frazier, who is tied for 2nd in the SC in triples with 2, hit a 1-2 fastball for a run-scoring single.

In postgame comments to the Texas Times, Frazier said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

Baltimore drops to 11-7.
