Penguins Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Decepticons
The Florida Penguins topped the Portland Decepticons, 4-0, in Major Conference action at Penguin Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Florida pitcher Walt Carson. The victory makes Florida 12-12.

Conn Barbarian made an early impact for Florida when he stroked his 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came with two out in the bottom of the third, put the Penguins on top, 4-0.

Barbarian told a Florida Times reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
