Robinson Excels, But Gamblers Win
|
Jason Robinson did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Baltimore Colts from losing, 6-2, to the Las Vegas Gamblers at Gambler Field. Robinson hit 2 home runs. The win puts Las Vegas at 26-10 this season.
The Gamblers got a big at-bat from third baseman Yoon-tae Kim. For the game, Kim went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Las Vegas a 3-0 lead.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Las Vegas manager Ray Brooks.
