Seagulls Need Extra Frames to Get Past Decepticons
|
The Portland Decepticons went down to defeat to Carlos K Hernandez and his Toronto teammates. The final score was 2-0 in favor of the Seagulls. The Seagulls move to 17-20 with the win, while the Decepticons drop to 15-22.
Toronto won the game in the bottom of the 15th inning. With two outs and Chet Ward on the mound for Portland, left fielder Robby Cook hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Seagulls fans to their feet.
"It was a good effort all around," said Hernandez.
