With 7-3 Win, Stars Improve to 21-19
|
Miami right-hander Greg Kosman pitched his team to victory over the New York Knights at Ballpark of Miami. The final score was 7-3. The winning pitcher was Kosman, now 2-2. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 4. The third-place Stars have won 4 consecutive games.
In the bottom of the sixth, Miami first baseman Devan Arceneaux put his team on top. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 11th home run of the year. New York pitcher Mark Stevens served it up. Just like that, the Stars were ahead, 3-1.
