Hawks Lose to Gamblers in Walk Off
Charlotte got a valiant performance from pitcher George Dixon, but it wasn't enough to beat the Las Vegas Gamblers. Las Vegas won the game, 4-3. Dixon threw 8.0 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. Las Vegas reliever Ryan Robinson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Adrian Banuelos absorbed the loss. The victory gives the Gamblers a record of 25-14.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Las Vegas trailing 3-2, Johnny Woods jumped on a first pitch slider from Adrian Banuelos for a 2-run home run, sending the Gamblers to a walk-off win.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Charlotte manager Bill Cat.
