The Los Angeles Shockers got a superb performance from second baseman Alex Guerrero. Still, it wasn't enough to beat St. Louis. The Robins won the game, 8-5. Guerrero was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. St. Louis raised its record to 22-18 with the win.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ben Peters? The St. Louis center fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Robins on top, 4-0. For the game, Peters had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
