Mars third baseman Patrick Coote had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 4-3, to Miami at Mars Field. Coote was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Ken Stafford snagged the win in relief. In 1.2 innings, the left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit. He's now 2-0 on the season. Earning his 1st save for Miami was Ricardo Osuna.

Justin Tormund, the 28-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Tormund contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Miami up, 4-3.

"It feels good to get this one," Tormund told the Miami Citizen.
