Knights Deal Stars 2-1 Loss
New York rode a fine outing from starter Juan Hernandez to victory over the Miami Stars at Ballpark of Miami. The final score was 2-1. Anastasio Carrara snagged the win in relief. In 3.1 innings, the left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits. He's now 2-0 on the season. The save went to Antonio Zapata, number 1 for him.

New York needed the clutch hitting of Tim Burrows to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 16th inning to put the Knights on top, 2-1. For the game, Burrows had 1 home run and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"Both teams played hard," said New York manager Gabriel Gonzalez.

The win puts New York at 20-17 this season.
