The Alaska Snow Sox topped the Orlando Rugrats by a score of 6-5. Leading the way was left fielder Francisco Nunes. Nunes hit 2 home runs for the Snow Sox. The win belongs to Curt Wyatt in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Brian Sanders took the loss for Orlando. Picking up the save was Ken Veeck, his 7th.

Vincent MacElheran went 1-2 with 2 walks for Alaska. The 26-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Brian Sanders. It was his 24th RBI of the season.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said MacElheran.

The Snow Sox now have a mark of 20-22.
