Bandits, Lorenzo Pin Bad Loss on Decepticons
The Bay Area Bandits defeated the Portland Decepticons, 10-1, at ConDome today. Leading the charge for Bay Area was left fielder Gary Lorenzo. He was 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Chris Carlson, the winning pitcher, improved to 2-3. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 7 hits and no runs, while striking out 6 and walking 3. Bay Area now has a 3-game win streak.

Ryan Jones, the 29-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Jones contributed a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put Bay Area up, 5-0.
