Cole Lifts Sluggers to 8-4 Win
The rain did not keep Louisville and Miami from finishing their game.

Troy Cole batted in 3 runs to lead Louisville to a win over Miami. The final score was 8-4. Cole chipped in with 2 singles and 1 home run. Andy Davis earned the save for Louisville, his 1st.

Miguel Velez drove in one run for Louisville. The 31-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Sergio Zambrano. It was his 20th RBI of the season.

"Enjoyed this one," Velez told the Louisville News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

Louisville raised its record to 23-22 with the win.
