Chicago Grabs 4-3 Road Win

Fans watched the Chicago Winds and the Phoenix Autobots fight to the finish.
Richie Jackson left his imprint on the 4-3 Chicago win against the Phoenix Autobots. Jackson, who finished 5th in the MC in triples with 8 in 2021, went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Chicago reliever Estanislau Eduardo got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Royce Walls was tagged with the loss. Ken Polanco earned the save for Chicago, his 1st of the year.
Jackson had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch sinker from Royce Walls, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Winds a 4-3 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Jackson.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Jackson said.
After today's action, Chicago sits at 22-25, while Phoenix falls to 23-22.
