The home crowd had a good time watching the Alaska Snow Sox and St. Louis Robins get after it.

The St. Louis Robins topped the Alaska Snow Sox by a score of 8-2. Leading the way was designated hitter Jorge Allen. Allen went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Robins. With the victory, the Robins upped their record to 26-22.

The Robins got a big at-bat from catcher Jaime Torres. For the game, Torres went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave St. Louis a 2-0 lead.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Torres, "one at-bat at a time."
